I'm trying to render a rather complex 1 hour plus project but having problems. The project is NTSC widescreen DV plus many stills with pan and zooms ect.
The odd thing is that I rendered the project burned a dvd and then made a couple of changes to the project and added chapter markers now it will not render past 53%. It just stops the time counter continues but there is no activitey and the file when the timer finsishes is only half of the project. Now I'm trying to render each of the nest .veg and it is being very slow.
I have a quad processor and 3 gigs of RAM. According to task manager it is only using about 25% of the processor and only using 200 to 300 mb of ram. Why isn't vegas using the hardware to it's fullest capacity?
