Undocking the Timeline

Vegas 23 - How do you undock the timeline. My second monitor is swiveled 90 degrees so I can place in and see a lot of timelines at once. I got to happen it 21 and 22 but I can't find how in 23. All the windows on the top move but not the most important one. I thought I was supposed to be able to rearrange the screens as i want to.

Not sure exactly what you mean. The timeline has never been able to be undocked.

Thank you for your answer. The area where you put audio and video tracks. I have it undocked in 22.

It's not possible to undock the timeline. It's possible to undock the other windows and place them where you want them to be. If you want the timeline on one monitor and the rest on another, you have to undock all the other windows that you need and move them.

No...I don't think you have it undocked. Please post a screenshot of you VP 22 layout because I am quite curious as to what you are talking about.

Well thank you LdM_Edit for telling me that I can't do what I am doing, that was very pleasant of you.

Here are images of the Primary screen (first) and then the secondary screen (second) where the time line is moved to. I am trying to do this is 23.

@Douglas-McCarron Actually I think ldm described exactly what you are doing based on the screenshot. You undocked the other tabs and left the timeline. The other person commenting leads the development of this software so does understand what it can't and cannot do.

@Douglas-McCarron Your pictures show exactly what I described: your timeline is fixed on the main VEGAS Pro window (the one that contains the main toolbar and has the "VEGAS Pro 22" title); all the other windows are undocked and placed elsewhere.

@Douglas-McCarron Now we've established what exactly you are doing what happens/doesn't happen when you try the same with VP23?

Here's a video of how you get to that configuration. I'm using VEGAS Pro 23 (only showing the second screen where I have placed the main VEGAS Pro window):

Sorry for the double post, it does not allow me to edit my previous comment now.

Or just use the built-in layout:
