Ungroup > Group = Red timeline warning

I'm doing some editing of several stacked tracks

I'm noting some odd red warnings that i don't recall happening in other projects.

like having no warnings and then (without moving any clips on the timeline)

Ungrouping all > then Grouping = Red timeline warning of certain clips

Also noticed some warnings when pasting in sections using Auto Ripple/All which should only bump everything down the timeline uniformly!

Are they red or kind of pastel pink?

I got this same issue last week on a project. The pink audio loss of sync indication appeared spuriously and all other indications didn't confirm any loss of sync. Wound up just ignoring it. This on 8.0c

its repeatable, if I split a group and delete the split group in auto ripple mode

certain remaining clips are wrongly moved in the timeline -- or the indication is wrong--- but the pink clip warning appears only on some clips and the red "out of sync by + or - field" is : + or - 0.00 making the whole thing seem to be an annoying bug.

I got the warning even with auto ripple turned off. And yes, the common denominator appears to be splitting and deleting.

Would be nifty if Vegas had an option to say "i don't care, ignore the sync offset on *this* clip and don't report it anymore". Even better yet the ability to say "i fixed the sync on *this* clip and it's now right Show this offset as correct unless it changes again".
