Hmm, I seem to be able to add Arabic.

Try using the legacy text and seeing if that works. If not, try typing the Arabic/Bengali externally then copying and pasting.

I've tried all of these but nothing seems to work! One the writing pan the text is normal but on the preview pan, which is the actual rendering, the text is scrambaled and it doesn't make sense. I've also downloaded different Bnegali fonts but its still the same.

Yeah, there are ways to insert texts but its long winded process especially when you need to insert text constantly in the video. It would be easier if I could write the texts straight on timeline.

Do you mind post any single arabic line here so other users can try experiment with any Vegas text tool?

Just to confirm, so far I remember, Arabic letter is read from Right to Left, Am I Right?

Hmmm, so far I only work with Chinese Mandarin whether simplified or Traditional words (中文 / 汉语)... not much trouble..., whether horizontal orientation or vertical orientation.

Never tried Bengali language... but I'll leave wikipedia article here for a note, if other users able to experiment with it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bengali_language

abumaymoonah, my quick experiment find that I only able to use Nirmala UI font to show Bengali when using (Legacy) Text Media Generator. Other fonts unable to show anything.

Here what I can do with sample text found in wikipedia:

Top: (Legacy) Text - Middle: Protype Titler - Bottom: NewBlueFX Titler Pro 4

I assume the letter is read from Left to Right like English? When using Protype Titler or NewBlueFX Titler Pro, the character showing up if I'm using any font family (Probably that's the similar case happening to typing Arabic as well like video above - automatically using other font pack that available in the OS), but I changed all of them to Nirmala UI.

Felt that Titler Pro shows all character correctly and there seems few character changes on Legacy and Protype.

What font do you use? For standard, SimHei (Sans-serif type font) and SimSun (Serif type font) can be used. Kaiti for Maopi (handwriting) style also can be used. 

Since I work a lot with Chinese characters, I add Chinese Language Pack (both Simplified  and Traditional characters) on Windows OS so I can also type in via Pinyin method or handwriting method, and I have few chinese font packs installed. Forgot where these came from, but probably from old Chinese Windows (3.1 / 95 / 98) version. The problem with several font packs is they were not compatible with few traditional characters (usually used for Chinese Names), and they changed to other alternate basic fonts to SimSun or disappear.

I'm using SimSun font and it's the only one which works on my system. Actually, I just notice now that Word automatically switch to SimSun font as soon as write chinese, that's why I thought that many fonts can be used (it might me an idea to implement in Vegas though)

I only write in Pinyin (not able to handwrite correctly) by using the Microsoft Pinyin input method.

Ha - no need to reach as far East as for Chinese characters; when I create titling in Polish (which I sometimes just need to do, as with credit rolls in my music DVDs for the Polish market), I almost always find some (strangely enough, not all) Polish characters looking different to those from the basic ASCII set: some are different font, others looking like the same font as the remaining Lating ones but slightly different size, etc. One big mess!

Thanks for your efforts but its same as before even in your picture its same! Writing on the template on the left is fine, in fact that's not the issue, but main outcome on the video pan/preview pan is messed up! This is really strange that the outcome gets messed up that too on a software like sony vegas!
