I installed Vegas 5.0 and it works great. Then I went to uninstall the previous Vegas 4.0, and when I open a project, an error message tells me that the audio plug-ins are no longer associated, and they do not work.

After I reinstalled Vegas 4.0, everything works fine again.

Does this mean one must have both versions installed and running for full functionality?
