Uninstalling SCS software

I'm a Vegas user along with Acid 7, DVD Arch 6, CD Arch 5.2. I posted an issue
on the Acid forum which isn't very active. To do a complete uninstall/successful reinstall of SCS products, must I delete/reinstall all the MS C++......... as well? The error I had was including an incorrect folder when scanning for VST plugins in Acid (my bad). It's now trying to load a Realtek .dll file and stalls on that file permanently when starting Acid. I have followed the directions on SCS support knowledge base (including registry edits and folder deletions after uninstalling but am having repeated problems with the .dll file that stalls after repeated reinstalls. Any help is deeply appreciated.

You can remove the offending plug-in query in "Options> Preferences.> VST".. I don't have access to VP at this moment but it's a user option.

Thank you - I did a successful uninstall/reinstall and had a Waves tech get the plugins to scan.
In previous unsuccessful attempts I have have not disabled all my virus/malware programs.
Thanks again. Sneddy
