Unknown Error at extracting Vegas Video 4 Self-Extractor Package

Hi all!

I'm an hungarian boy, and I learn english...
So, when I double-clicked on the vegas40.exe file (from downloaded from Sonic server and not the beta ver.):
I chose the directory to extract the installer's files... - OK
When the extractor began the extracting, the system sent me a message at atl.cab...
The message: Unknown error.

What can I do in this situation?

Thanx - Virex

I'd try uninstalling VV4.0, then download and install the file again. Something may have gotten corrupted in your first download.

hello,I had a lot of trouble downloading the demo from the website,it would download but never unpack properly, always corrupted. Then I tried downloading with "Flashget" download manager instead of internet explorer and it worked perfectly.Just type in
www.amazesoft.com to download Flashget.Hope this helps.
