Unsupported CD-RW

I've not used CD Architect in awhile, but just got a new system with a new Teac CDW516E burner, so I installed CD Architect and the update (g). Now I find this new drive is not supported by CD Architect. Is there anyway to correct this or am I just screwed, having a $300 piece of software that is now worthless?

if the drive is MMC compatible, you can manually select the drive. Go to the Select Drive menu and choose either SCSI MMC Compatible or Atapi MMC Compatible. Then choose the device the drive is attached to and then choose the CD-R drive there.
