UNSUPPORTED FORMAT

I desperately need help... I am trying to open a project I was working on and can't.. It says

" an error occurred while loading the project "

The file is an unsupported format.

I don't have the plugins I had earlier today. I need my stabilization and title plugins. I am missing most of my plugins. I did download a newer version of vegas and then uninstall it after having issues. I am on sony vegas pro 17. I tried doing a system restore which didn't work for fixing the program. How do I restore Vegas without reinstalling it. I did delete a bunch of magix folders as well as vegas folders as well today. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. I have been trying for hours with no luck, thanks. Any ideas or suggestions would be great, apperantly you can't reinstall plugins but you can restore certain files or folders. Previous versions of them do not come up, I did reinstall magix folders I deleted earlier, THANK YOU!

Please note there is no "Sony" Vegas Pro 17 https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/sony-vegas-vs-vegas--119881/

Presumably the missing plugins came with your Vegas purchase. Go to your Magix account https://www.magix.com/us/support/my-service-center/ and under My Products look for your VP17 to see what came with it as separate downloads. Personally I'd also download the main VP17 to reinstall if the plugins came as part of the main programme.

I would do an uninstall, wipe out all the VEGAS related folders you can find and do a reinstall as these Fx are basic parts of the software. Reinstalling will not affect your projects or media.
