Unwanted noise

Hey all, newbie here.
When I recorded my video I also recorded the audio (noise)
Now my footage is on the timeline & Im adding some audio I want.
Is there a way to get rid of the noise from the video track?

Mute the audio in the track header. If you can't see the Mute button, expand the track header.

Thank you so much. I do have another Q.
On my music trk.I have 2 sound clips. I only want reverb on one of them. I applied reverb on the track, how can I have reverb on one clip but not the other?

If you have a version of Vegas that does not have audio event effects, just put one audio event on another track and reverb the track you want.
