Up Graded Computer -- No BorisFX or New Blue

RandyCA wrote on 1/8/2018, 5:38 PM

I have the Vegas Pro 15 Suite and found my computer just was not up to it.. So I build a machine that is. I loaded Vegas Pro from the disk (that was an extra option when I upgraded to 15) and turned it on with my key. But it does not have any of the third party add-ons: BorisFX, HitFilm and NewBlue.

How do I get them on my new computer?

Check your Installed Software through Windows. Are they showing or not?

Install everything using the VP15 Suite download manager: http://dl03.magix.net/vegaspro15suite_dlm.exe

The version of VP15 on your disk is probably not the latest.

Thanks guys. I downloaded from the link Nick provided, installed it and everything -- NewBlue, HitFilm, DVD Architect -- was great except no BorisFX! The main third party plug in I use is the BorisFX chroma key.

Got any ideas on what the problem is?.

You know Bitman, you may be right. As I look at the ads for the Vegas 15 Suite I don't see the BorisFX chroma key on the list. I must have bought it from Boris on some big sale they were having - I can't imagine I paid full price for it. Some how I have it in my mind that I got it with a Vegas upgrade. But I guess I am wrong about that.

I sure wish Vegas had someone to answer their darn phone.
