update downloads and fails to update

I am running vegas 19, build 550. Everytime I open it, it states that an update is available. It then downloads 700MB+ and then asks for additional download of 450MB+. After all that, when it tries to update, it crashes. In many cases, it also crashes the system. So, where can I get the update .exe for both downloads and do the update independently. OR where can I get Vagas Pro 19 with all the updates included so it no longer asks to update. OR how can I get this to update???

The reason I am updating is because I am having all kind of issues with Vegas 19 accessing MP4 files. I thought this software was MP4 compatible.
