Updated to Vegas Pro 21.0, now I can't drag my files into timeline

Hi!

I've updated to vegas pro 21.0, now I can't drag file into timeline from file explorer like I did before.

Tried importing through the program - just keeps telling me it can't open.

Same files I always use, mp4. Never had issues before.

Hoping someone, somewhere can help!

Thanks in advance, Heather

Please either provide a mediainfo readout of your media or upload a sample file that is exhibiting the behavior to a file share site for us to analyze (or both). Without that, we cannot help you.

Hi Derek,

Thank you for your reply. I'm not sure what a mediainfo readout is, I'm sorry.

I've linked a share folder with examples of the files I am trying to import/drag into the program. I've used these files with previous versions of Vegas without any issue.

Here is the error message that comes up, no matter what .mp4 I try.

Thanks again, Heather

Something not right with the installation process?

I can put your files without any issues.

Here's what most of us saying about 'mediainfo' : https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-to-post-mediainfo-and-vegas-pro-file-properties--104561/

I have tried out the media with several different configurations and GPUs and have not seen any issues with VEGAS importing these. My suggestion is to reset all of your preferences and try again.
