hi i am looking for help on if there is an easy way to do this or not .. i am currently using vegas 12 and want to go ahead and make the leap to current cegas due to the prores handling and alot of impressive updates to the software. my only problem with making updates is plugins .. is there a way to transfer my plugins to the updated vegas without having to go through with reloading from scratch . when i went from i think 10 to 12 i had to redo magic bullet and a few others which in turn i lost some of my custom presets. i just figured it was the nature of the game but i thought i may ask the forum so i can decide if i really want to make the move now while im in the middle of a few film projects or wait . im on windows 7 if that matters

If you’re talking about third-party OFX plug-ins, they should appear in your updated Vegas without you doing anything.

As long as the plug-in is compatible with Vegas 14 you should not have to do anything as stated by Red Prince. OpenFX plug-in are installed in a common folder. But many plug-ins only allow certain specific hosts (aka Vegas) or host versions to load them.
