Upgrade?

Scott-Weaver wrote on 5/4/2022, 6:46 AM

I am receiving repeated notices both in my copies of Vegas 19 Pro and Post about upgrades to a new version (I have all of the current updates installed), however it appears that Vegas 19 is the current version. Am I wrong? And if there is not a new version, how do I turn off the nags for something that isn't available anyway?

If you have build 550 of Vegas Pro 19, you have 19's latest build. The nag windows are likely to be the ones that are inviting you to upgrade to a higher version of Vegas Pro 19 (i.e. from VP19 Edit to Vegas Pro or Vegas Post). To turn them off, go to Options/Preferences and uncheck 'Use Newsfeed to stay ...'.

Hello, prevent your Vegas from networking because it will load ad pop-up from Magix.

@john_dennis OP is not trying to uninstall Connect. OP is trying to fix these:

So I suggest the OP blocking Vegas from connecting to the Internet to prevent it from loading a lot of spam from Magix.

Major program update shouldn't appear if you're on 19.550.

You can disable the upper one (ads upon launch) forever in preferences by unchecking the use newsfeed for updates box (something like that). No need to block Vegas from accessing the internet.
