Upgrade from VPro 13 to VPro 14 Edit or wait for 15?

I have received a tempting offer to "upgrade" from my current Vegas Pro v13 to v14 and wanted to confirm that, if I go for the Edit version, I would only be missing DVD Architect Pro (which I have with 13 and barely ever use). Now I see that v15 will be coming. I doubt I'd be able to upgrade to that for the same low price so I think I may well go for v14 Pro Edit, unless I'll be missing something significant. Thanks for any advice!

I would wait and demo v15 .. when it becomes available (allegedly soon). The expert level folks here will dissect it as well and offer they're findings. I'm sure the introductory price will be enticing.

If you have no reason to "upgrade," don't! I would definitely wait until we have a clear understanding of what new features have been added v15 and whether it is functional.and bug free. Chasing the upgrade-chimera can be both frustrating and costly.

Interesting....is this, below, an indication of an impending V15? Here is V14 in the boxed version at B&H, for $250.

Thanks for the advice. I could upgrade this week to v14 Edit version for 149€ (about $169).

I'll wait.

Can I confirm, though, for future reference, that the Edit version would be the full version minus DVD Architect and Dolby Digital Professional Encoder? I can easily manage without those.
