upgrade issue

Hi, I upgraded from 21 Pro to 22 Pro yesterday. I installed 22, but it took forever and then it was nowhere to be found and I still had 21 installed. Should I remove 21 first? Also, it took way way too long trying to install. It is a new and super powerful computer so it should have been fast. I tried a second time and the installer was kind of frozen on the install. Any tips? Thanks!

Should I remove 21 first?

No, not at all. Other than for a few folders (e.g. user created custom render templates), different versions of Vegas Pro are independent installations; for example, I've got 8 versions of Vegas Pro (15-22) installed on this computer.

Is there anything like an anti-virus program or a firewall setting that might be hindering the installation of Vegas Pro 22?

Also, when you write, "... was nowhere to be found" I assume that means that Vegas Pro 22 is not appearing in Windows' Installed Apps list. Perhaps try installing Vegas Pro 22 using the direct links for the program listed under point 7 in https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-where-can-i-download-vegas-pro-and-other-vegas-software--104782/. The latest build is 194. You'll also need to install VP22's Deep Learning Models (22.0.0.0).
