Upgrade pricing

Hi, I'm new to this forum, so please bear with me, if this is too noob a question/remark for you 😉

Now, I'm pretty happy with Vegas Pro 22 and with 23 coming, I am of course interested in upgrading.
So:
1) Owning the Vegas 22 Suite, is there any point in buying the 23 Suite? I mean, I am a musician but I'm not using either ACID Pro nor Sound Forge.

2) The upgrade pricing is a bit on the hefty side - not much rebate, almost full price. And being a musician I already own a lot of plugins (VST) for music production, so I have no interest in the
Vintage Effects Suite or such.

So... this is like buying the full version. Again.

Or am I wrong? 😇

If you have no need of any of the programs that come with the Suite version, then go for the Edit version.

The only other consideration is if you find the Vegas Hub (Text-to-Speech, Speech-to-Text, Cloud, Stock Footage) allowances with Suite are better for you than with the Edit version.
