Just curious, but why use Real? At last count ... well ... *any* other codec is as good or better, and has a less annoying player.

"real player clips in mp3 format"??? I didn't know there was such a thing. I thought that Real Player clips (either video or audio) were in Real Player format.

You can *convert* a Real Player audio clip to mp3 .. but, at that point, it's no longer a Real Player clip.

I publish video in Real Player format because:

1. it was one of only two that my site would support as streaming video.

2. the other format (Quicktime) was of a poorer quality for the same bitrate.
