Upgrade to Production Suite

The Production Suite of VMSP11 includes one or two more whistles and bobs over the basic version although fundamentally both share the same base and DVD authoring platforms.
When upgrading is it advisable to do a complete uninstall and new install of all components or is the installer clever enough to ascertain what elements are already installed and add components such as plugins as necessary?.

If you've already got some of the programs in the suite, just buy the upgrade and leave the other programs as is.

In my experience, the install files will see what you already have and it will only install (and only charge you for) the programs you still need.

At least that was my experience when going from VMS HD10 Suite to VMS HD 11 Suite. It saw that I already had DVD Architect Studio and so it only loaded the new VMS files.
