Upgrade to Vegas 4

I'm thinking of upgrading to Vegas 4 but I have a few questions.

1. Can VV3 and Vegas 4 live on the hard drive together?
2. Will my .veg files from VV3 open in V4?

1. Yes, Vegas 3 and Vegas 4 can both be installed and functional at the same time.

2. Vegas 4 can load Vegas 3 projects. BUT, Vegas 3 CANNOT load Vegas 4 projects.

Lots of reasons:
Scripting and color correction are two VERY big ones. But there are many more as well.
