upgrading from 10.0 to 10.0c

OK im probably a fool - but HOW do i update my version of vegas pro 10 to version 10c?

I can see there is a seperate download for the entire 10.0c version, as opposed to a patch. But when i run the installer it asks for my serial key - which it refuses to accept. THis is a legit key which works with the 10.0 version i downloaded.

SO how do i get a new key for the updated version?

how are you upgrading? simply downloading and installing?

if the latter i don't recall being asked for as serial no (?).

have you checked 'my software' and the serial number listed there?

Maybe you are trying to upgrade from Vegas MovieStudio to Vegas Pro?
