Upgrading to 4.0d & verifying registration

I purchased the Vegas 4.0 download last Feb/Mar. Just started using it. It is Vegas 4.0 Build 115 according to the Help-About screen.

Just downloaded the 4.0d update via the link posted here on the forum.

1 - Do I just click the downloaded file from Windows Explorier and let it install on top of my copy of Vegas or what? (Didn't see any upgrade instructions.)

2 - How can I tell if my copy of Vegas is registered? I can't remember if I registered it when I bought it or not... nothing on the Help-About screen. Update made me enter all my user info again??

1. Commonly Sonic Foundry product upgrades install hassle-free over the previous installation.
2. You'd know if you hadn't registrated. I don't know if upgrading to 4.0d requires re-registration (when you install over the old). It ought not to, but either way it's simple enough, especially if you run Vegas on a box with internet (which I don't).
