Upgrading versions & installing on another machine

Hi,

I currently have V5.0 on my laptop. I'm considering upgrading to either 7 (by buying a license from another user) or 9 (by upgrading through the SCS website) - not decided on a version yet. However, I want the upgraded version to run on my desktop (which currently does not have vegas installed).

Would it be possible to purchase an upgrade (using the serial number for the v5 that's on my laptop) and install that upgraded version on a desktop?

Absolutely. No problem at all.

And you can install the new version on both your laptop and desktop as Sony has no problems with you doing this.
This only caveat they make is that you only run one computer at a time.
