Stupid me, I've been viewing my preview window on a 2nd monitor attached to USB, and I forgot that there's lag on it. due to the conversion adapter.

No wonder I don't get realtime playback! After I moved the preview window to the main monitor, it's great now.

I know this is stupid, but maybe someone else made this mistake too, dumber things have happened, like the Y2K bug.
