Use of Keyframes - Need HELP

How to manipulate pictures on the timeline.

Difference between VP9 and VP14.

Here is what I did in VP9 to scroll up or down or zoom in or out of pictures I used to click on the picture then

hit 'Match Output Aspect'

scroll/zoom to the desired part of the picture and hit 'first Keyframe'

then place the cursor in Position (column) to create Keyframe,

now I could move to scroll or zoom and such movements would be recreated up to the point where I marked to create keyframe. - And here it comes: by creating the zoom or scroll I could follow the Event Pan/Crop window to make sure I did not go out of frame to have black sides/tops in the picture.

When I apply the same approach in VP14 I am able to place the picture into the exact position I want to BUT when I hit 'first keyframe' and then place the 'create keyframe' I cant see / follow the movement in the Event Pan/Crop window - thus leaving me blind and I have to speculate positions and do go out of frame.

I appreciate your advise.
