Use Scenarist BD

Go to ebay.com - create a search agent. Set it for "Scenarist BD" - just be sure to find one with activation codes included. Back in the days, many people got sent evalutation codes for Scenarist BD and it only enabled it to run for a short time. Some people have also been trying to sell off dongles and software but without any activation codes at all - also avoid those.

I did search and I managed to get a pretty cheap set of dongles with latest version of Scenarist with all options included. Also works with 3D and doesn't have the issues listed here. Only downside with Scenarist is a lot of extra work + you need a Photoshop CS2-6 to create the menus...(some have reportedly gotten newer versions to work as well, but since my CS6 is working, I haven't found any reason to upgrade).

I have just bought the biggest Vegas 13 suite and was also a bit disappointed that even that version didn't include a newer Architect. It did include a lot of other goodies/plugins/music though, thanks Sony :-)

But the Vegas Pro 13 Suite DOES include DVD Architect.

There is no newer version than version 6.

Steve, I think he was more disappointed that there was no newer version of DVDA with newer features (Pop-Up menus etc) included. Version 6 seems to be a bit of a dog anyway - I've stuck with 5.2 myself. For BD I use TMPGEnc authoring works now. Bit of a pain, but at least it gives clients what they expect from a BD.

Not quite sure, A: If this is legal. B: How to set up a "search agent" in ebay. Never heard of it!
