We have used the Decklink Duo on 9 and 10 without issues. This new card is not a big issue as we will write our own playout software for it. I was hoping the issue have been resolved with SCS.
My BM Intensity Shuttle works great for preview in Vegas 12 and 13. Although it did take a while before the driver set reached compatibility. There was a time when the device was very new that it did not work with Vegas 12.
I just bought the Decklink mini monitor, can't get it to work with Vegas 12 or 13. Sent an email to BlackMagic, and posted on their forum, but no response yet. Works fine with BM's Media Express. On a similar system we have, an older Intensity Pro (HDMI and HD-SDI) that works fine with Vegas 12. Is there some difference between the Decklinks and the Intensitys?
Thanks so much, Serena! I'm replacing with an older Intensity card that I know works. I'm curious, how did you find this out? Is there a list of such info, or just from talking to support folks?
The information came from BM support, or to be precise New Magic Australia who provide support for both Vegas Pro and BM products, who said "I can’t get output from Vegas through DeckLink Mini Monitor either. This makes no sense as DeckLink 4K Extreme and other DeckLink cards are fine...
This appears to be an oversight, I am investigating right now."
The result was that I had to swap the Mini Monitor card.
Thanks again, Serena! Please post if you hear anything more. Meanwhile, I'm using an old Decklink Studio card, which works for HDMI but not for SDI, for some reason. Luckily the Sony OLED monitor has both.

"The last few versions of Vegas support has been the Vegas team doing the testing and certification with our hardware and their software. As such, it would be best to contact Vegas support to see if there are any settings you might have overlooked.
"All I can suggest is that you make sure that you install Vegas first, and then our Desktop Video driver and this should add our plugins into Vegas. If you installed the Desktop Video drivers first and then Vegas, then uninstall the Desktop Video drivers and then reinstall them and this should add the plugins back into Vegas."
Since I installed Vegas first, that's probably not the problem. Now to find someone at Sony software to ask!
