using boodabang's script

Hey boodabang.

Nice script. Thanks for sharing.

I downloaded script and tried it out-- not sure I'm using it properly. I'm just selecting an event then parking my cursor on a single music beat and calling up your script.

I can get script to place effect keyframe whereever I immediately have cursor parked....but would there be anyway to get it to set keyframes to whereever you've set markers in an event? Then you could marker out an entire sequence to be effect keyframed. And I'm not sure what the designation for motion keyframing is-- does concurrently keyframe pan/crop only, or can track motion be affected as well?

Yes, that's how I use it...set the cursor, keyframe, repeat.

It had not ocurred to me to keyframe according to a collection of markers so it can be done in one go...I'll have to play with that. I'm currenlty finishing up a Flash game for a client so I might not get around to it until the end of the month though.

I added the option to keyframe motion because I was also scaling, transforming, and/or rotating the event in time with the music as well.

When I finish the video I will post a link to it so eveyone can see how I made use of the script. (And Vegas!)

I'm also planning on seeing if I can figure out a way to "auto keyframe" based on the samples in the music clip...that would make the whole process even quicker!
