using CD tracks & indices

Hhow can I insert CDtracks or indices at fixed intervals - say every 2 minutes - throughout a track? It seems the only way to do it is to advance to the position and insert, then repeat manually until done. This can be very time-consuming over a long project involving several CDs and I was looking for a way to automate this function.

Thanks.

Yes, I also would like to know how to insert tracks at fixed intervals (in my case, every 5 minutes). It seems like this would be a fairly common task. Our CD-R recorder can do this, but we need to be able to do this for stuff we recorded on the computer.

We also have SoundForge and WaveLab if either of these is an option.

Thanks.

I was wondering if you made any headway on this question? I will be using CD Architect 5.0 with our church pastor's sermons saved as one large .wav file (about an hour) I would like to put tracks in with CD Architect at the 1 minute mark so listeners can go back to the minute they stopped listening and resume thier playback. Let me know even if you have no news. Thanks

Why not put the tracks 'intelligently' at meaningful breaks, points, or topic changes in the sermon ?
