I'm working on a project (Using Vegas Pro 9.0a) where the source material has program content on channel one of the source tape, and commentary material on channel 2.
I would like to end up with on the DVD made from this (using DVD Architect) having the program content on both channels and a menu selectable commentary track. Is there anything special I need to do while digitizing this into Vegas to "separate" the two tracks, or can they be digitized as a 2 channel pair? Do I need to mix some of the program audio into the background of the commentary track? I notice on a lot of commentary tracks that there is often low level program content provided in the mix.
