Using events across projects

Hi

I'm trying to reuse some edited video events across two separate Vegas projects. Is there a way to share these edited events across the two projects? (incorporate an edited event from one project, into another)

I tried doing something like, going to one project, copying the event, and then going back to the other project and trying to do a Ctrl-V, but that didn't work (didn't do anything).

This normally works - do you have both projects open at the same time?

If so, make sure you have clicked in the destination track before Ctrl-V.

You have to open TWO instances of Vegas at the same time. Open the old project in one; copy the events; paste them into the second "instance" of Vegas.

Ah...that did it..I didn't have two instances open; I was switching from one to another. Thanks!
