Using GPU to PRE-RENDER 4K Video Proxy?

HI,

I have V16.0 Build 109 of Movie Studio 16 Platinum.

I also use my Nvidia 1060 (6GB) for rendering 4K Video on my MS Windows 10 64bit PC

Wondering why/how or if it is possible to use GPU (video card Ram) as well as CPU to render 4K Proxy files?

Proxy files are XDCAM. I don't think they bennefit from GPU. What benefits from GPU is selective pre-rendering with MAVC. Just make a pre-rendering template from an existing MAVC template, important exclude audio.

Not sure what you mean by "4k proxy files", the proxy files Movie Studio generates internally are 1280x720.

Hi, the 4k Video files are generated from my Mavic 2 Pro drone.

Filming in 10bit H265 Dlog-m they render fine just editing and reviewing is a bit of a pain but...

Sorry, but I don't see any editing in your example (besides an intro title and an inappropriate music underscore). But proxies will be indeed the way to start editing this footage.
