I use Adobe Photoshop Album (PA) to organize my photos. I'm doing a video of wedding stills, starting with 600 photos. I use PA to organize the photos (creating "tags" labeled pre-ceremony, ceremony, etc.), and select the best photos for each category. Now, the question was how best to get them into Vegas with those categories.

Ah-ha! I discovered that if I have both PA and Vegas open (side-by-side), I can select a tag (ie category) in PA, select the photos I want (or all photos in the category), and then drag and drop them on the Media Pool. Better still, I can create bins in Vegas Media Pool and drag the PA photos into the Media Pool.

This saved me lots of time and uses both applications to their best use.
