Using Vegas and ACID

Hey all,
I'm looking for some helpful tips on using Vegas and ACID
together. I'm using ACID and loops to roughly construct
songs. I then want to fine tune and mix the tracks in
Vegas. My impression is that I will need to resave
the loops using ACID to get my final tempo and key settings
(taking advantage of ACIDs capabilities in these areas)
and then bring them into Vegas.
Is this the best way to do this? Granted I haven't played
around with ACID loops in Vegas too much and I'm assuming I
can't get good tempo, key changes on ACID loops in Vegas.
Is this true? Any help, tips from others using the two
programs would be helpful.

You're very much on the right track. In Acid, simply do an "export
loops at project tempo," then import them into your Vegas project at
the same tempo. Everything will work super fine. You should be very
happy with the results. NOTE: Make sure you set the appropriate
volume level in Acid before exporting your loops.
