Not that I know of? I've found this straightforward enough?

I suppose you COULD create several VidCap profiles/files with predetermined Folders, and choose which of those you wanted:

Folder 1 Capture Session

Folder 2 Capture Session

Folder 3 Capture Session

And once you had set these up ONCE, you would only need to invoke them as and when.

Grazie, the problem with doing this is that, unless you tell it otherwise, VidCap still defaults to the last folder that was used :-(
And yes, this happens even if you load in a VidCap session that you had previously saved.

If the Add folder dialog would let me specify a default folder to start in, rather than always starting in the program directory, that would be a huge help and quite a time saver.

I've been asking since V4 for the capture program to make the destination directory part of the capture project, rather than a global value. Apparently, unbelievably, this must be some sort of huge programming issue, otherwise this clear "bug" would have been fixed long ago.

I've been asking since V4...

Likewise :-(
I gave up asking after Vegas 7 didn't add this feature.
All I want is to be able to save a VidCap file and have it remember everything about the project and not just the batch file settings.
