V-log is not a format, it's more like a color space. Vegas supports basically all formats and all color spaces.

Call it Format, gamma encoding curve, just VLOG-L... we know what you mean.

You will need a way to apply a LUT to make the footage look "right". Luckily there us now a free plug-in to do that. (from vision-color if I remember correctly). you can get a LUT from Panasonics varicam 35 site or some others coming soon.

Also, the ACES workflow could be used if/when Balazer makes a curve for that...which I think he will do :)

You can also use the plugin from looks 2.5 to apply the lut.
