v17 Still Crashes for no reason regularly

I recently upgraded to v17 not for free and it still f#%#@^$ing crashes just like v16 for no reason.

Maybe this could have been solved already?

Windows 10 Pro x64 1903

i7-8700 @ 3.20GHz

Was having the same thing on v13 so upgraded to v17 and am now encountering similar things.

Is there a known fix for this?

VMS 16 and 17 are good working programs if they match the hardware specs and with almost its default settings.

Have you tried turning off your overclocking? Video editing/rendering places a heavy burden on CPU and GPU.
