V2.5 Print-to-Tape

In the Video Factory 2.0 Editor software I show the Microsoft DV device as active,and I have very nicely done DV captures with the new V2.5 Capture software, BUT after editing/rendering when attempting to Print-to-Tape it does not function and down on the bottom of the P-t-T screen it says my Device is Not Ready (but it is!).
Is the fix for the V2.5 Capture/Print software going to correct this situation? I see that others are reverting to using V2.0 to output rendered videos.
