V22 render issues?

I was working on some 2D and 3D 360 edits and had some confusing results with the latest version of V22.

My source material is Top/Bottom full 3D 360 image sequences 5026x5026 pixels. I didn't do any edits except to repeat the 361 frame sequences 5 or 6 times, trying to get YouTube not to treat them as "Shorts".

When I tried to render them as 5026x5026 HEVC videos Vegas wouldn't let me create a render template larger than 5026x4320. I ended up rendering with Voukoder.

When I tried to render just the right video at 5026x2513 all I could get was 5026x2514. Again, the template wouldn't use the dimensions I input.

It's been a while since I've done much 3D 360 but I just fired up V21 350 and have a render template I've used at 6144x6144 pixels.

So...nobody else has noticed anything similar? I've gotten used to being able to define render templates with pretty arbitrary dimensions to match my source material, so these latest hiccups are a surprise to me.

Is there a way to pass render templates from one version to another, one install to another?

I should have mentioned all this is happening on a new computer, not the one in my signature (I'll update that...).

"5026x2513" I seem to remember that odd integers are not allowed by some/many/all render templates. I don't remember which or why.

I'd try 2512. That's a multiple of 8 which most renders seem to want also.

Thanks, @john_dennis, @jetdv. 360's should be 2:1 aspect ratio, but YouTube and the viewers I use don't care if it's not exact, so I just lived with that one.

PTGUI chose the dimensions based on the 960x960 cube faces I fed it.

I do wish Magix would do a bit more about supporting 2D and 3D 360 and VR180.
