V3.0 Upgrade Questions

I'm about to upgrade from v1.0b to VV3.0. Before I do, a couple of questions:

1) Will v1.0b project files open completely and properly in VV3.0? I'm in the middle of 2 full-length album projects and can't afford any lost data or screwy restores...
2) Does the line "VEGAS.EXE=392" still need to be added to the motup324.cfg to remove record delay with the MOTU PCI324/1224 interfaces? I'm running W98SE and the latest MOTU driver for W9x.

Oh...One more thing:

3) Does v3 require a newer/different version of MSDX than v1.0b? i.e. can I count on having to download a large update? Or...Is the required version of DX included on the SF install disc?

I think you'd be better off contacting SF tech support. They could answer you so that there wouldn't be a doubt about it.
I don't think you want a "It SHOULD work" answer for that type of question.
