Hello (esp Grazie). Just Installed V4 in addition to V3. Opened a short slide show project from V3 and played around. Closed. Recorded some analog footage off VCR into DV camera and went to capture. File-Capture window opens with error msg:
"Application does not support this file type."
"Details" tab gives:
File F1QCQ6 cannot be opened.
File T9V94P cannot be opened.
File 8200Y7 cannot be opened.
Hmmmm. Opened V3 and captured what I wanted perfectly, same exact setup. Reopened V4 and added files to V4 media bin no problem and right on into timeline. Have not attempted attempted DV capture with V4 until this instance.
I give up. All options/preferences in V3 mirrored in V4, I'm pretty sure. Clues???
