I'm rendering through the Main Concept encoder. I start with the DVD NTSC template and click the Custom button. I change the audio bit rate to 384 Kbps under the audio tab but it does not change the audio rate in the Description Box to reflect the change. I also saved these settings as a new template and recalled the template direct from the Render As panel and it still shows 224 Kbps for Audio in the Description window but if I go into the Custom settings it does show 384 and a small render played back in PowerDVD confirmed that it was encoded at 384 Kbps for audio. Thought SoFo would want to know about this display bug.
Also, going through the settings of the DVD NTSC template I found that the Write sequence display extension is unchecked yet the ? says that it should be on for making valid VCD, SVCD & DVD Mpeg files. Is the preset correct or the ? help wrong?
One more thing :), I thought I had read that Main Concept released an update to their encoder, will Vegas users be able to get this upgrade?
Thanks,
-Troy
