Well...I *finally* had a break in projects and upgraded from good-old v3c to v4e on an older machine running W98SE...This machine with v3c was the most stable native audio workstation I've encountered...

So...v4.0e...Not so good. Lots of "bugginess" and one crash that lost me 30 minutes of work. There does seem to be a correlation of problems with the use of certain Waves v3.5 DX plugins...

While I realize that I'm running "old" stuff, I'm wondering what changed in v4.0e that could have destabilized my system to substantially!?

Any others with similar experience?
