V4e and XP

I recently caught up to the rest of the world and upgraded to XP and found the windows within Vegas4e don't seem to resize properly. For example the customise button in the render window is completely missing. Other windows are missing scrollbars and are difficult to navigate.

Sorry if this is an ancient topic, my searches didn't seem to find anything.

Been using V4 happily with Me for awhile now, never upgraded because the new version didn't support my OS. (And after looking at 6 after missing out on 5 - umm love DVDA, but really the only thing I want from vegas is an easy non-destructive method to nest edits)

But this V4 issue is fairly annoying... if I can't find away to access that customise button I'll have to go with a dual OS cpu. Help appreciated.

I had V4e running on a Win XP Pro notebook, and it did not have the problems you are seeing. If you upgraded the OS without reinstalling the applications, the obvious thing to try is to reinstall Vegas.

What I did was install XP home on a new hard-drive. I installed the V6 demo first, and after a few weeks installed V4.

Here are screen shots of what I'm seeing:
-this is the render window missing a couple of buttons

-this is the preferences missing the scrollbar

so far I've tried removing the 6 demo, reinstalling v4, and spent some time adjusting the system fonts in both classic and xp mode.

Thanks for the input as it turns out installing the latest driver for my graphics card made it all normal again.
