V6 & 1920x1080 24p

i have 1920x1080 24p clips ( HD film transfer- black magic codec) .. everytime i drop a clip into V TL it closes within 1/10 sec of it hitting the video track ?
i've tried it on 3 XP pro computers ...
clips open in combustion , AE6.5 and they play in WMP ..

anybody else having problems with 1920x1080 24P clips ??

I assume it is in a QuickTime wrapper. Try exporting from QuickTime Pro to AVI before dropping it on the Vegas TL.

they have a AVI extension

Use QT Pro/AE/C* etc. to output to a different codec such as indeo or cinepak.

Any of these should work fine in Vegas, as should uncompressed if you have the disk performance for it.
