V6a MPEG 2 'loop region' render problem BUG?

Ran into a funny problem today that I haven't encountered before in V5d. On V6a I had a one-hour timeline (PAL) and had the in/out points marked with the 'Loop playback' icon selected. Selected a render to PAL DVD and let it rip. When I came back I discovered that the whole one-hour render comprised of what appeared to be the FIRST frame only of the whole timeline. A one-hour copyright disclaimer!

Hmm! Gave it another go and exactly the same thing started to happen. I then deselected the 'loop region' and tried again. This time the render went as one would hope. The preview window updating in the normal manner. After the render finished I checked it and it was fine. Rebooted the PC opened V6a selected 'loop region' again and tried another render. Same problem, a one-hour disclaimer rendered from what appears to be the first frame of the timeline. Deselected loop region and the render went fine. Anyone seen this weird behaviour in V6? Could be a 'bug'. Anyone prepared to give it a try?

In V5 it didn't matter if you had the loop selection icon selected. In fact if you only need to render a selection of timeline this function is essential.
