After setting display preferences to 'Automatically hide docking area / Dock windows at top... / Position tabs at top ...' I soon get the following error message:
"An error occurred while processing the undo buffer. You should save your work immediately with a new project filename and restart Vegas.
The reason for the error could not be determined."
Unfortunately the message is true: things are stuffed until V7 is re-started. This occurred on an AMD 3400 system, so I tried it with the trial version of V7 at work on a pentium-based machine, and the same error occurred, so I assume it is a general problem.
