V7 - Download Vs. Box

Just wondering what most people do re. download SMS software vs. box. I have always gotten the box, like having something pretty in my hand. Afterward, I just have the keyboard card handy (which I rarely use anyway).

I think it's time to go download only. Save a few more trees/resources. And get it much quicker.

Any benefit to box? Other than Cinescore included some additional things in the box version? Do you downloaders miss anything? (the included manual is mainly for first time users)

Nevermind. I played the heathen and did the download, plus the $15 for the paper.

Often they'll have a deal where you can get the extra added content on a DVD for something like $10 (within USA) shipping.

You got a box???? Last few times i did the "boxed" thing i got baggies. I don't think i've gotten a box from them in over 5 years.

But i digress. I think downloading is the way to go. I don't print the manual out either. I just look at it on the screen. Of course, this is another case in which dual monitors are a plus.

"You got a box????"

lol. Come to think of it, the boxes were for V4 and V5. Maybe I should save them for eBay in about 10 years. All my other "boxes" were large enough to hold a CD.

I paid $15 extra for the keyboard guide via mail. That helps.

If you live in a sales tax state, you may pay good money for that box.

i get the box because it includes the reference manuals & such. if most new vegas users actuatly looked though the reference manual the board would be near dead. :)

The box is important, give us our box!

Look I got a Vegas T-Shirt, I got a coupla them blinking Vegas pendants, so how about making certain we all get the box.

Without the box, we're no different to the guys who just knock the thing off, real editors have the damn box, give us our box!

Oh, OK, it's too expensive to ship, fine, send us a pdf and we'll print our own box.

Bob.
