V7 Problem: Text Media Cut & Paste Too Slow

Compared to V6, the new cut and paste for text generated media is way way too slow, like 3-4 times slower... anyone else have this problem?

For example, if I have a text with a shadow on it and copy/paste as new copy later in the timeline, it seems to take 3-4 seconds each time to both copy and another 3-4 seconds to paste, which is very slow. It was instant in all prior versions of vegas.

On V4/5/6 I never had this slowdown of text cut and paste - and I can't edit well with that delay, because I use a lot of lower thirds where I'm copying and modifying text media on project timelines. I'm almost tapping my fingers here waiting for it to copy and paste, using simple ctrl-c/ctrl-v for basic text media.

Anyone else see this? These are basic text overlays w/shadow/horiz.compression; nothing fancy re multiple edit points for moving compression or anything, just simple cut and paste, is taking a noticeable delay..

thx,

Ken

No problem here with the registered version. Pretty much instantaneous. In fact, I've used it quite a bit.
